Penguin Island Toddler Fest is a FREE event hosted by Perth Wildlife Encounters

Time: 9.30am & 10am Ferry departures

Come join in the ocean inspired fun at Penguin Island's Toddler Fest. Enjoy ocean inspired activities, nature play, crafts, Sea Sensory Tubs and more. Inspire time out in nature amongst this stunning A class Nature reserve and stretch those little imaginations with all things wild!

Activities for Penguin Islands Toddler Fest are suited to 0 - 5 year old's. 

Please note this is a self-guided event where parents and caregivers are responsible for their own child/ren and are in their care at all times.

• Exploring the nature trails & boardwalks taking in spectacular views of the marine park
• Having a picnic under the trees overlooking a safe swimming beach ideal for young children (Please pack a lunch or allow time to collect food from Pengos Cafe prior to departure as there are no facilities on the island to purchase food).

Departure Times & Bookings

Ferries depart Shoalwater hourly from 9.00am to 3pm. Please note you must be on the 9.30am or 10am ferry for the Penguin Island Toddler Fest. Please Check in at the Visitor Centre 30 minutes prior to departure to collect your ticket. 

Return ferries depart Penguin Island at 15 minutes past the hour, every hour from 10.15am to 3.15pm. Return ferries don't need to be booked in advance, simply wait at the jetty on the day for the next available departure.

There are no shops on the island so please bring a packed lunch with you for you and your toddler to enjoy.

Online bookings close 1 hour before departure, if you have not made a booking and wish to join today's departure please contact reservations on 08 9591 1333 as there may still be seats available. Alternatively tickets can be purchased over the counter.
